This small list of web sites developed by parents comprises a treasury of information, inspiration and hope.

Apraxia-Kids

Such a forum was obviously deeply needed, for the list quickly grew to a vital and busy exchange between parents all over the globe as well as therapists and other professionals who have joined us. Probably one of the most frequent posts on the listserv which we have seen goes like this: "I have learned more about my child's speech problems and apraxia of speech in the last week than I learned in the past several years." Clearly there is power in parents sharing their experience and knowledge with one another..."

There are so many things to consider about children with hearing impairments. Things you don't even think about. The main issue being, how do you communicate? There are many ways of communicating with a child with a hearing impairment... " Kyle's mother, Sherry Zeilstra, developed this helpful site.
