Jean Ellis is a
Certified Practising Member of Speech
Pathology Australia.
Jean joined the
practice in 1985 following wide and consistent experience in a variety of public health
settings, where she worked with young children, adolescents, adults and elderly clients
with speech, language, fluency and learning problems.
Now, her
clinical focus and particular interests lie with children, adolescents, and young adults
with delayed speech (phonological) development, language-based learning difficulties, and
hearing impairments, as well as individuals on the autism spectrum.
She is also
very interested in clients with any of the above problems whose first language is not
English.
Jean can offer
appointments out of school hours on each of her working days and is available for holiday
appointments. She is always keen to have contact with other professionals, teachers and
carers, and welcomes their involvement in clinical programmes.
