The SLP "Start Page"  began in 1998 as a private reference page that enabled quick access to regularly visited sites, especially while web-weaving. I used it so frequently that eventually the obvious course was to set it as my default home page. If most of your Internet use is SLP related, try this as your own start page. To do so, with this page open in Netscape, click on TOOLS »» OPTIONS »» GENERAL, and/or with this page open in Explorer click on TOOLS »» INTERNET OPTIONS, and/or in Firefox click on TOOLS »» OPTIONS, and follow the on-screen instructions. A "Listserv" is a software program that automatically redistributes email to subscribers to a mailing list or discussion group. To "subscribe" means you have agreed to receive posts from a listserv or mailing list. "Subscribe" does not imply that you pay a fee. You can "unsubscribe" at any time. There is more information for newcomers to the Internet here.
