The SLP
"Start Page" began in 1998 as a private reference page that enabled quick
access to regularly visited sites, especially while web-weaving. I used
it so frequently that eventually the obvious course was to set it as my
default home page. If most of your Internet use is Speech-Language
Pathology related, try this
as your own start page. To do so, with this page open
in
Explorer
click on TOOLS »» INTERNET OPTIONS »» 'use current'
and/or in
Firefox
click on TOOLS »» OPTIONS »»
'use current page'.

Electronic mailing lists DISCUSSION GROUPS related
to communication impairment
An
"electronic mailing list"
is a software program that automatically
redistributes email to subscribers to a mailing list or discussion
group. To "subscribe"
means you have agreed to receive posts from an electronic mailing list. "Subscribe" does not imply that you
pay a fee. You can "unsubscribe"
at any time. There is more information for newcomers to the Internet
here.
